Just in time for the festive season, we are launching digital gift cards across our on-line checkouts, so your loved ones can pick their favourite gifts!
For the main ceramics shop at Julija Pustovrh Ceramics we have a special range of customisable cards available here. Gift cards are also available for my Etsy shop from the main Etsy gift card store. Happy shopping and happy holidays! Jxx By now it is pretty clear that 2020 Christmas Market Season will all be on-line.
Two starter markets I am taking part in are actually already gearing up. Our friends at Tea Green have set up two weekends of pre-Christmas bonanza via their Facebook Marketplace Group. So, head over on 31st Oct-1st Nov and 28th-29th Nov for a wealth of Scottish arts and crafts and some special offers and discounts! What are you waiting for? See you, Jxx Another exciting news in the progress with my pottery practice!
After mainly selling on Etsy for the past five years, I am starting my own indpenedent shop - Julija Pustovrh Ceramics. Thsi will exclusively feature my latest work (currently the Sandscape Collection) and will be opened fro teh first time at 6pm on Thursday 15th October. I plan to offer tableware and some decorative pieces - so cups, plates, and bowls, as well as vases and candle holders. At the site, you can also sign up for updates about new stock and reminders about shop openings, etc. Hope to see you all there! I am super excited to be announcing this!
After three years in a big shared studio, my colleague Borja Moronta and I are moving together into our first independent studio space. Conveniently enough, it is in the same building that we were based so far, so the move should not be too difficult, though we will have to buy a lot of equipment and update and upgrade the space. Big thanks to Abbeymount Out of the Blue team for all the hard work in sorting out all the details. We got keys today and will be moving in by end of September (after all the set-up is complete). Can't wait! (PS: I will keep you all updated about our progress on Instagram.) Once we are all set-up - you are all invited to vist (though in practice it may be after we deal with Covid-19...) Jxx I was so much looking forward to exhibiting at Potfest Scotland 2020 in June, but due to Covid-19 measures., the event was postponed.
But not indefinitely - I am thrilled to announce, that Potfest is now going ahead on the last weekend of September (25th-27th)! We are assured that all possible safety measures will be implemented and the event is out in in the magnificent Scoone Palace park anyways. I am so much looking forward to seeing you all there. Jxx The Covid-19 pandemic is affecting us all, though in different ways and to a different degree. As an artist, I would also like to contribute to our joint community effort.
So, I have decided to part with the three of my exclusive gallery at reduced prices (as I know everyone is stretched these days) and donate a share of the proceeds to the fight. 30% of all proceeds will be donated to local charities, who support our key workers and emergency services in responding to Covid-19 pandemic. Many thanks for supporting me and our brave front-line staff! Jxx I am delighted to have been invited to exhibit with Scottish Arts Club this Summer.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 pandemic, the gallery we inteded to use is closed, but we managed to organise an on-line exhibition instead. Today, the exhibition goes live! You can see my selected work by clicking here. I really hope you enjoy browsing through the retrospective of my work over teh past three years. Jxx I have launched a fundraiser on Patreon make more artwork in the future.
In the recent weeks, I have used some of my time to start working on a few small projects that are a bit more artistic than my usual pottery practice, And I realised just how much I miss open-ended creativity! So, I have launched a fundraiser that I hope will help me dedicate more of my time to artistic projects and develop my studio and perhaps launch an exhibition in a year's time or so. Hence, if you like my more conceptual work, I hope you can support me on Pateron so I can bring more of these creations to life! Hello world!
As you may have noticed, my Emporium Julium Website is going through a gradual uplift. This is something I have been planning to do for a long time, but only got around to doing now that lockdown stopped me from working behind the wheel! So, over the next few months, expect a few changes as I streamline and update the various pages and links and bring all the content up to date. Please, do let me know what you think/like as we go along! Thank you all for your continious support. Hope you are all safe and well in these difficult times! Lots of love, Jxx |
