I hope your Summer was as delightful and as relaxing as possible.
Mine flew by way to soon and I am already finding myself writing an Autumn update. My partner and I went on a forest walk last weekend and it certainly feels like Winter is round the corner.
Anyways - I have a lot of really exciting updates for you!
This coming Friday (1st October) I am having a long-anticipated mini shop opening.
The online shop opens at 7pm - though if you subscribe to my newsletter and reminders, you get exclusive early-bird access from 6.30 pm.
Secondly, I am super happy to let you know that my experimentation with natural locally sourced materials, in particular sands and wild clay, is progressing very well and I am soon embarking on a short residency at The Lengths in Achaphubuil, near Fort William, in the Scottish Highlands.
Make sure you are following me on Instagram for updates about this next step in the project.
So, I hope to see you at my online shop update (I will be live on Instagram for the launch).
Due to an overwhelming amount of Instagram interest in the new projects I have been working on, in particular my latest experiments with Kurinuki and a brand new collection of Sandscape straws for life, I decdided to do a super short weekend shop opening this coming weekend (18th-20th June).
That means you can get your straws lined up for any Summery coctails you have been planning! :)
Anyways, the new items, as well as some other recent pieces are all available through my online store until midnight on Sunday.
My online Julija Pustovrh Ceramics Shop is open with the Spring 2021 Sandscape Collection update.
As always, the items are a mix of functional and decorative tableware, including your favourite mini vases - this time you can choose amongs 40 of these unique little beauties!
In addition, there are some very "springy" hanging planters and large statement vases and the last of thsi winters oil burners and wax melters.
I hope you find the something special to brighten your home for the Spring.
I am very pleased to be showcasing my Sandscape Collection pieces as part of Adjust / Adapt, a new digital exhibition created by Scottish Furniture Makers Association in partnership with Visual Arts Scotland.
Adjust / Adapt explores how domestic interiors are being modified and enhanced in light of the pandemic, with home-working and home-schooling becoming the norm and in doing so celebrates the transformative power of creativity and craft to transcend challenging times.
The online exhibition which runs from 27 March 2021 - 24 April 2021.
Hope you are all safe and well.

I am super excited to be announcing this!
After three years in a big shared studio, my colleague Borja Moronta and I are moving together into our first independent studio space.
Conveniently enough, it is in the same building that we were based so far, so the move should not be too difficult, though we will have to buy a lot of equipment and update and upgrade the space.
Big thanks to Abbeymount Out of the Blue team for all the hard work in sorting out all the details.
We got keys today and will be moving in by end of September (after all the set-up is complete).
(PS: I will keep you all updated about our progress on Instagram.)
Once we are all set-up - you are all invited to vist (though in practice it may be after we deal with Covid-19...)
